      In the role of Process Engineer for BiMOS Backend, you will contribute to the advancement of our automated semiconductor production. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance existing manufacturing processes and lead innovative development projects, with a particular focus on assembly and dispensing technologies.

      How you’ll make an impact

      • Improve process efficiency and yield by designing and executing structured experiments, analyzing results, and implementing enhancements

      • Collaborate on development and automation projects with equipment suppliers, product engineering, quality assurance, and research and development teams

      • Analyze production data to optimize performance, identify long-term trends, and prevent potential failures

      • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain and improve production throughput

      • Develop forward-looking methods and processes to ensure the long-term viability of production
         

      Your background

      • A master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or a related field

      • Several years of experience in a production environment, ideally within the semiconductor industry

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a quality-focused mindset, and a proactive, hands-on approach

      • Solid understanding of production requirements and practical experience with process automation

      • Familiarity with structured experimentation, data analysis, Six Sigma methodologies, and production statistics is a plus

      • Proficiency in both German and English
