      Process Engineer - Manufacturing

As a Process Engineer in the Manufacturing Development Center, you will be the technical contact for prototyping activities within the department. You will act as a subject matter expert by designing experimental plans, leading the prototype production lifecycle, and developing or adapting equipment to support new or complex manufacturing needs. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing, and Technicians to ensure robust, safe, and right-first-time prototyping execution. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of existing prototyping lines through data-driven analysis and equipment optimization.
      YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

      • Act as SME to design experimental plans and identify optimal processing approaches for specific substrates and formulations, working hand-in-hand with technicians and R&D.
      • Lead the full prototype production lifecycle—from early feasibility discussions to on-floor execution—ensuring proper documentation including batch records, trial protocols, and risk assessments, as well as reporting to project leaders.
      • Develop custom setups, adapt existing equipment, or coordinate the sourcing of additional machinery to support new activities or enable complex prototypes.
      • Analyze equipment and process performance by leveraging data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and relevant KPIs to drive continuous improvement of prototyping lines.
      • Collaborate with EHS to ensure full compliance with equipment and processes, supporting risk evaluations and maintaining the highest operational safety standards.

      WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

      Must have:
      • Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or equivalent.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work hands-on and cross-functionally in fast-moving prototyping environments.
      • Fluent in French and English.

      Nice to have:
      • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or development environment with exposure to prototyping, process optimization, or pilot-scale activities.
      Don't hesitate to apply.
