Your missions

• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, losses, and variability.
• Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (OEE, yield, throughput, scrap, downtime, changeover time, energy consumption).
• Perform data collection and statistical analysis to support decision-making and prioritize improvement actions.
• Design and implement Lean initiatives on the shop floor (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, visual management, SMED, standard work, Kaizen events).
• Deploy performance management routines to sustain improvements.
• Promote a Lean culture by coaching teams and challenging existing practices, both on-site and remotely.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects to improve productivity, quality, and robustness of processes.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Your profile

• Experience in an industrial environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar process industry).
• Experience in process optimization and Lean / continuous improvement projects.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial operations.
• Knowledge and practical use of Lean tools (VSM, 5S, SMED, standard work, Kaizen, visual management).
• Familiarity with problem-solving and quality tools (PDCA, DMAIC, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• Experience with generative AI tools.
• Academic background: engineering degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• English fluent. Any additional European language is a plus.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and facilitation skills with shop floor and management.
• You demonstrate a hands-on, field-oriented, and pragmatic approach and a continuous improvement mindset and ability to lead workshops and influence without direct authority.
• Remote policy: Possibility to work fully remotely from Switzerland or the UK; ability and willingness to travel worldwide up to 40% of the time

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
