In a nutshell

You are responsible for the full lifecycle of a specific product segment, from concept through to retirement. This role focuses on defining and executing the product strategy, ensuring the product meets market demands, and managing the product-s performance across various business functions.

In Global Product Management we define and execute the product strategy, to ensure our offerings align with market needs. With the right portfolio we create sustainable success for Bystronic and improve our customers profitability and efficiency!

What you will be doing

• Analyze market trends and competitor landscape
• Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps for our global ByCut Platform incl. Bevel
• Manage the full product lifecycle from product launch to phase out
• Monitor product performance and drive improvements
• Define product positioning and value proposition
• Create clear product documentation and develop marketing and sales materials
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales
• Support and train our global sales team 

Your education and experience

• Bachelor-s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in product management in a B2B environment, preferably within the machinery or industrial sector
• Proven experience managing product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life
• Fluent in German and English; other European languages or Chinese is a benefit

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions based on insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
