Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the product's strategic plan for the local market, in alignment with the organization's overall objectives, focusing on meeting the unique needs and preferences of local customers
Collaborate with local sales and support teams to gather customer feedback, understand their requirements, and address their concerns in a timely and effective manner
Serve as the primary point of contact for local customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle
Monitor and analyse local market performance, sales data, and customer feedback to assess the product's performance and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion
Identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth within the local market
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market demand, customer feedback, and business objectives
Prepare business cases to justify decisions on product configurations and features
Provide product knowledge support to Licensee management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive product improvements
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the product team to drive product excellence and customer satisfaction
Follow safe work procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents and be prepared to respond in the event of a workplace injury or emergency
Education / Skills & Competences:
Very good communication and coordination skills
Pro-active and self-driven
Structured approach to problem solving
Ability to work closely with people of different cultural backgrounds
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management preferably in marine engine business
Very good knowledge of marine engine technology
Proven track record of successfully managing a product portfolio and driving strategic initiatives
Excellent skills in summarising complex topics and presenting them in a clear and concise format
Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs
BSc or MSc in Engineering
MBA or advanced degree preferred
