      How you’ll make an impact

      • Use simulation tools like COMSOL and ANSYS to improve power module designs. Focus on thermal, electrical, and mechanical performance

      • Create and update 3D models using Rhino and Autodesk Inventor. Make sure the designs can be manufactured and are reliable

      • Explore new materials and joining methods. Check if they work well with the design and meet quality standards

      • Build prototypes and early test models based on the designs. Help with testing and validation

      • Write clear documentation about your work. Support publications, patents, and share knowledge with the team

      • Work with other teams, research partners, and suppliers. Make sure the designs fit production needs and product goals

      Your background

      • Degree in mechanical engineering, material science, physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline

      • Strong proficiency in simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS Q3D, or similar platforms, with experience in multiphysics and coupled simulations

      • Experience with CAD tools like Rhino, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent for design and modeling

      • Solid understanding of thermal, electrical, and mechanical behavior in power electronics systems

      • Hands-on experience with experimental validation and familiarity with manufacturing processes, ideally in power module packaging

      • Industry experience in high-tech environments is preferred, but motivated graduates with relevant skills are welcome

      • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

      • Fluent in English; German is a plus
