      More about the role

      • Assess different charging strategies, including ageing effects of Li-ion batteries used in hearing instruments applications
      • Analyze test data and contribute to the development and refinement of battery lifetime prediction models
      • Perform electrochemical characterization, and (optional) post-mortem analysis
      • Prepare, execute, and analyze cell performance and verification tests (e.g. verification and validation test)
      • Maintain, calibrate, and ensure stable operation of battery test systems and lab equipment
      • Support and expand laboratory tools (e.g. impedance analyzer)
      • Develop, debug, and improve MATLAB/Python scripts for data processing, automation, and reporting
      • Maintain and calibrate battery test systems and ensure stable operation of lab equipment
      • Document results, prepare reports, and support R&D activities

      More about you

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
      • Strong interest in Li-ion batteries, electrochemistry, and power management
      • Basic proficiency in MATLAB and Python programming
      • Practical, hands-on attitude and ability to work on-site in a laboratory setting
      • Independent, structured, and reliable work style
      • Strong communication skills and team orientation
      • Good spoken and written English

      What We Offer

      • Real-world experience in advanced battery R&D
      • Exposure to industry-grade test systems and analytical tools
      • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful products improving people’s lives
      • A collaborative environment with mentoring from skilled engineers
