To further develop our products, we are performing experimental studies in our test center in Baden and in our customers’ plants. The Instrumentation team is responsible to provide the testing infrastructure and sensor instrumentation of turbochargers for testing purposes. Help improve our diverse team as an Instrumentation Engineer.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and lead instrumentation tasks on turbochargers and test rigs in close cooperation with the manufacturing and assembly departments
- Perform, evaluate, and document tests on turbochargers and its components
- Design of mechanical rework and sensor instrumentation on turbocharger components
- Advise and support test- and development teams
- Contributing knowledge and findings to product development
- Lead and manage projects in context of instrumentation tasks
- Coordination and planning of tasks within the team and across teams
- Cooperate on interdisciplinary development and infrastructure projects
-Further develop measurement methods and testing infrastructure, including in the areas of strain, vibration, and temperature measurement as well as data transmission from rotating systems
Your background:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or graduate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of measurement technology
- Experience in the field of temperature measurement
- Experience in design with CAD programs (preferably CATIA)
- Experience with turbomachinery is an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for both theoretical and experimental work
- Fluent in German and English
- A high degree of flexibility and good organizational skills
- Team- and results-oriented working style with a high degree of personal initiative
