Recruiting and Member Care Specialist

Overview Mercy Ships seeks a dedicated Recruiter & Member Care Specialist to manage and support volunteer recruitment efforts. This role involves overseeing the application process, engaging with volunteers throughout their journey, and representing Mercy Ships at key recruitment events. Working closely with international teams, you will ensure a smooth and effective recruitment experience that aligns with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, coordinate, and align applications with international teams.
• Ensure professional communication with applicants and stakeholders.
• Organize and conduct recruiting events and info sessions (~7x/year).
• mprove candidate experience and engagement.
• Support alumni engagement and administrative tasks.
• Mercy Shipsprovides free medical care in Africa using hospital ships

Qualifications:

• Previous recruitment / Talent sourcing experience preferred.
• Excellent German, English, and French skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, flexible working hours possible.
• Mercy Ships experience or medical background is a plus.
• Experience in an administrative role supporting international teams preferred.
