Do you want to be an integral part of Regulatory Reporting and Counterparty Risk monitoring at Vontobel? How about turning risk reports into actionable business intelligence?, As a member of the Risk Measurement & Analytics team you will be closely involved in regulatory topics such as Capital Adequacy, ARIS, LER and Counterparty Risk monitoring and reporting. You will develop, maintain, and challenge the regulatory reporting process end-to-end; from the interpretation and implementation of the relevant policies all the way to the timely submission

What would your role be:

• Be a subject matter expert for Capital Adequacy and Regulatory Reporting
• Become an active member of Counterparty Risk Reporting
• Act as a sparring partner for business as well as risk department colleagues and management
• Create periodic regulatory reportings, both internally and for the regulator
• Compile/Coordinate (regulatory) reporting deliverables such as Capital Adequacy, ARIS and LER
• Improve/develop reporting processes, tools and infrastructure

What are we looking for:

• University degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or related field with quantitative background. Alternatively, a university degree in science (e.g. math, physics, quantitative finance, engineering) paired with relevant work experience in the financial industry
• Experience with regulatory reporting such as Capital Adequacy, ARIS and LER
• Good programming skills (particularly Python, PL/SQL)
• A flair for streamlining and automating processes
• Good command of written and spoken English, German is a plus
• Curiosity and challenging the status quo
• Passionate about learning and interested in financial markets
