Reinsurance Manager (Speciality Reinsurance) (100%; m/f/d)

We are looking for a Reinsurance Manager to join the Group Reinsurance team, responsible for the Speciality Lines of Business with strong analytical background.

What to expect
• Cross-border cooperation with all Business Units of the group
• Setting up and handling of the Reinsurance needs of the Business Unit and at the same time being responsible for respective Lines of Business on the outward side.
• Bridge between partners, data delivery, analytics, actuarial, accounting and claims

We expect
• University degree in business, insurance, actuarial or computer science
• Ideally several years of experience in a similar role; strong candidates with the ability to quickly grow into the role will also be considered
• Responsible for the Speciality Lines of Business: Marine, Bond, FineArt, (Cyber)
• Being part of a small team, also taking over deputization responsibilities for other Lines of business
• Hands on experience in establishing processes and systems in a (re)insurance company
• Ability to coordinate activities among a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Analytics and presentation skills to various stakeholders
• Networking and relationship capabilities as well as entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Self-driven professional with a structured and quality-focused mindset
• Business proficiency in English and ideally also German
• Affinity for programming
