 Your Responsibilities

To support our commercial growth and strategic market expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Business Development Manager (m/f/d).

In this role, you proactively identify new business opportunities in the peptide and amino-acid derivatives market, strengthen our commercial pipeline, and drive customer acquisition with a strong “hunting” mindset. You will work closely with our technical and operational teams to assess project feasibility, support proposal development, and close commercial agreements that create long-term value.

• Deliver against agreed commercial and growth targets
• Identify, target, and acquire new customers (including cold outreach and event-based lead generation)
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
• Prepare commercial proposals and quotations
• Negotiate and close customer contracts
• Evaluate new project requests in collaboration with technical teams
• Develop and execute market-development strategies
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Represent Senn Chemicals at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events (travel up to ~50%)

 Your Profile

• MSc in Chemistry, Life Sciences
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or Technical-Commercial roles
• Experience in the pharmaceutical / peptide / CDMO environment preferred
• Existing network in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector is a strong plus
• Excellent negotiation and project-management skills
• Strong business acumen with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%
