Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) is looking for a capable and experienced individual to help accelerate our growth strategy. We are seeking a motivated and driven to join our business development team, the engine behind our pipeline growth. This role is designed for someone who thrives on connecting with prospects, qualifying opportunities, and driving interest in advanced solutions
This role will support ZRS sales efforts and can be located anywhere in the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting with a strong ability to work with others to deliver against ambitious targets. The successful candidate will have a passion for driving sales growth, have an entrepreneurial approach, a growth mindset and be able to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve our revenue targets
This will be a remote role, with minimal travel to industry events/conferences
What will you be doing?
Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to create qualified meetings for ZRS’s sales team
Generate pipeline
Uncover pain points, assess fit, and determine urgency using consultative selling frameworks like BANT, MEDDIC, or SPIN
Qualify opportunities
Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and management to develop campaigns and accelerate lead conversion
Collaborate with sales & marketing
Manage outreach and tracking through CRM (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (e.g. Outreach.io), and intelligence platforms (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Develop a strong understanding of ZRS services to articulate value to both technical and business decision-makers
Educate prospects
Maintain accurate activity logs, pipeline data, and weekly/monthly KPI reporting
Track performance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of experience in Sales
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in Sales
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in Sales
Experience building and managing relationships inside a business and externally
Experience meeting sales goals
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in lead generation, business development, or inside sales
Insurance industry experience
Experience working in a consulting service business
Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to tailor conversations to different audiences
Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Familiarity with pipeline-building strategies, prospecting tools, and sales methodologies
Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently hit or exceed pipeline KPIs, plus activity and meeting targets

This position includes a variable compensation component that is based on an individual’s performance under the applicable sales incentive plan
