      The School of ENAC combines the forces of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences and Engineering to help ensure a sustainable living environment for humanity through the sound and respectful integration of human activities into the biosphere

      Main duties and responsibilities

      • Production of science outreach content in various formats, such as written, video, visual and podcast content. Promotion of this content via the communication channels of , as well as supporting communication strategy and initiatives in coordination with EPFL's central communication unit (Mediacom)
      • Production of multimedia editorial content, such as popular science articles, short videos, photos, podcasts, and visuals
      • Identification of topics (prospecting, monitoring, etc.) within the ENAC community
      • Management of ENAC's social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) based on a strategy and communication plan developed by ENAC’s Head of Communications
      • Contribution to the implementation of the communication strategy and management of the editorial calendar
      • Support for the analysis of communication campaign results
      • Support for the production of internal content (newsletters, presentations, etc.)
      • Supporting the organization of events and the animation of the ENAC community

      Profile

      • Master’s degree in scientific communication and/or journalism, with a strong interest in the ENAC fields or other basic sciences and engineering domains
      • Bilingual in French and English (or at least Proficiency level)
      • Minimum five years’ experience in communications and/or as a science journalist, preferably in an academic context
      • Experience in producing content (texts, videos, posts) based on input from various units for different media, ranging from print to social networks
      • Knowledge of tools such as WordPress, Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro or Da Vinci Resolve, and Photoshop
      • Experience in analyzing the results of content dissemination
      • Curiosity and the ability to explain complex topics from various fields in simple terms
      • Excellent writing skills in French and English
      • Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
      • A keen interest in new communication tools (social media, video, podcasts, etc.)
      • A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
      • A desire to be part of a small, responsive, dynamic, and solution-oriented team with a vision for the impact of communication activities
