About Our Client

Our client is a globally active organisation operating in a complex, international environment. To support the Group Finance function, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the Group Consolidation team on a fixed-term basis.

This role offers exposure to group-level accounting topics, international stakeholders and US GAAP reporting within a structured and professional setting.

Job Description

• Preparation, review and reconciliation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and capital expenditure reports
• Active involvement in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Analysis and assessment of complex transactions, including technical accounting research and the preparation of accounting memoranda
• Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights to support business decisions
• Ensuring audit readiness and supporting internal and external audits, including the documentation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley controls

The Successful Applicant

• Commercial accounting education or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in a comparable role within an international organisation
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP; CPA certification with an active licence is required
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented, hands-on and results-driven mindset
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel
