Position Summary

For our team in Basel, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term contract for 12 months, working in group consolidation department.

Your role

• Financial Stewardship: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, capital expenditure reports, and VAT declarations
• End-to-End Closings: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings under both US GAAP and Swiss GAAP (OR) ensuring precision and compliance
• Insightful Analysis: Offer financial insights that shape our future by supporting budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing performance variations
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, providing top-tier financial support and driving business decision with financial acumen
• Audit Excellence: Ensure audit readiness, supporting both internal and external audits with accuracy and professionalism

Your profile

• Commercial accounting education
• Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company
• Results-driven attitude - you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer centric mindset
• Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of German is a plus
• Expertise in Swiss GAAP and US GAAP
• Proficient in MS office and SAP (R/3, S4)
