Proficiency with UNIX, scripting languages, and IC design tools from major EDA vendors is also required. Good written and spoken English is essential for technical collaboration in a multicultural environment. Experience organizing technical training courses and undergraduate laboratory activities is highly desirable. The ideal candidate combines strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences and is comfortable taking on a leading and senior technical role within the team.
We are a small support team of four permanent employees, and are looking forward to add a fifth member to the team. As a support group we expect you to be present mostly in the office to interact with students and research staff, however we can accommodate some home office hours per week as long as it aligns with the rest of the group.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our team. We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job and that candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background. If you are interested in this role but your past experience does not align perfectly with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
