      • EY’s Transactions Corporate Finance (TCF) department sits at the intersection of corporate finance and the M&A transactions landscape, with a focus on M&A Advisory, Transaction Diligence and Valuation, Modeling & Economics.       • As a member of one of the leading mid-market M&A teams in Switzerland, Europe and globally, you will work on high-profile sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions in the financial services sector. You will gain hands-on experience across the full deal lifecycle, with a steep learning curve and direct exposure to clients and transaction stakeholders
      • To reinforce our growing TCF team in Zurich, with a particular focus on M&A, we are currently looking for an M&A (Senior) Consultant

      Your key responsibilities

      • Prepare and review key transaction deliverables, including information memoranda, teasers, process materials, management presentations and other client-facing materials
      • Perform and review company financial models and valuations using market multiples, precedent transactions, DCF analyses and other valuation methodologies
      • Support and execute M&A transactions from origination through closing, managing workstreams and coordinating and interacting with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, lawyers)
      • Conduct industry, market and company analyses to support strategic decision-making and transaction execution
      • Develop target identification and buyer screening analyses, including long lists and short lists
      • Participate in and coordinate due diligence processes, identify key findings and translate them into actionable recommendations
      • Execute multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to tight deadlines
      • Support business development initiatives, including pitch preparation and proposal development

      What we look for

      • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field, with a strong academic record
      • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Deal Advisory or Private Equity
      • Demonstrated experience in executing transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and stakeholder management
      • Ability to engage in client and buyer communications and take ownership across the transaction cycle
      • Ability to show initiate and support several transactions in parallel
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German; French is considered a strong asset, with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and develop practical recommendations
      • Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset, strong client focus and the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
      • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach
