The opportunity

• We are seeking both Senior Consultants and Managers to join our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice and support the continued growth of our Melbourne team
• Working with banks, insurers, superannuation funds, wealth and asset managers, non-bank lenders and other regulated entities, you will help clients identify, assess, manage and assure financial and non-financial risks. You will work across a range of governance, risk, compliance and regulatory matters, helping clients strengthen risk management capability and respond to an evolving regulatory environment
• Our team advises clients on some of their most important risk and regulatory priorities, including governance and accountability frameworks, non-financial risk management and resilience, compliance and conduct risk, customer outcomes, remediation, technology and cyber risk, AI governance, risk culture and regulatory transformation

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver governance, risk management, regulatory and assurance engagements across financial services clients
• Assess and enhance governance frameworks, risk management frameworks, compliance frameworks and control environments
• Support clients in managing financial and non-financial risks, including operational, compliance, conduct, technology, cyber, data, AI and third-party risks
• Advise clients on regulatory obligations and expectations, including across a range of APRA prudential standards (including CPS 220, CPS 230, CPS 234, FAR) and customer outcomes requirements
• Support operational resilience, outsourcing, risk transformation and governance uplift initiatives
• Work with clients to understand their business, risk profile, governance arrangements and regulatory obligations
• Develop practical recommendations and communicate complex risk and regulatory issues clearly and effectively
• Contribute to workshops, thought leadership, proposals and business development initiatives

In addition to the above, Managers are expected to:

• Lead client engagements and manage delivery, quality and engagement economics
• Build trusted client relationships and support account growth and business development activities
• Coach and develop junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team culture
• Lead proposals, client presentations, workshops and thought leadership activities
• Contribute to practice growth through market insights, capability development and client relationship management
