Key responsibilities include:

• Support the quarterly closing process by handling L&H cash flow production under IFRS
• Prepare manual cash flow adjustments together with the regional L&H valuation reserving actuaries and Finance colleagues
• Create automated solutions and contribute to improvements in cash flow controlling activities
• Participate in long-term change requests to improve the data quality, including requirements definition and testing
• Maintain close exchange and collaborate with IT business analysts and developers to enhance our reporting landscape
• Assist in preparing audit documentation and evidence, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results

Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis, facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re legal entities, including SST and Solvency II. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Global Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organization

About You

• You have excellent analytical skills with holistic financial thinking and are able to interpret financial data. You demonstrate strong personal accountability and are competent to work a flexible schedule and deliver under time pressure. You possess the ability to perform tasks with support and a degree of autonomy, but also collaborate with all partners to deliver on clearly attributed goals and objectives
• University degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics)
• 3-5 years' experience in similar positions within Finance or Risk Management
• Knowledge of IFRS requirements within an L&H (re)insurance setting
• Experience in L&H actuarial cash flow production in line with IFRS requirements
• Committed, proactive and dedicated personality
• Ability to work accurately and deliver within timelines
• Team player with eagerness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 98,000 CHF and 146,000 CHF for a full-time role
• In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus
