• Zurich is currently looking for a Senior Mail Specialist to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. RCIS is one of the leading crop insurance providers in the U.S. RCIS offers insurance protection in all 50 states through a national network of about 3,600 licensed agents. RCIS offers a wide range of private product coverages, including a diverse selection of named-peril options, supplemental and stand-alone insurance products as well as federal crop insurance plans through the United States Department of Agriculture’s Risk Management Agency. • he candidate selected for this opportunity should report into the following North American office location:
• The distribution of incoming mail & packages for Crop Offices
• Marketing orders are gathered and fulfilled
• Employee letters, printing, supplies are addressed and handled
• Vendors deliveries and pickups are handled for Fed Ex, USPS, and Pitney Bowes Presort

Other Mail Center Tasks Assigned

• Ability to lift boxes of up to the weight of 50lbs
• Willing to learn and get certified to run forklift
• Attention to details and good communication skills
• Performance of repetitive tasks such as scanning, filing documents, fax transmissions, e-mail correspondence, disburse incoming mail, writing letters, and address changes
• Complete department assignments such as research issues and perform data entry
• Research and resolve departmental issues
• Implement approved business processes
• May manage correspondence and respond to general written or verbal inquiries
• May train others on basic job duties of the department
• Ability to work independently and is a self-starter
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work as needed or required
• Maintain required training and attend department meetings as required
• Assist team members and co-workers with workload, as requested

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Clerical Support area, OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the Clerical Support area
• Preferred Qualifications
• Crop Insurance industry experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in production environment
• Ability to operate general office equipment
• Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. • The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $18.56 - $25.48, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%
