Your story

• Engineering Expertise: Proven experience in mechanical, manufacturing, or a related engineering field with a track record of completing projects building machines and products with your own hands, automating processes or anything else that will impress us
• Product Expertise: Background in product design, mechanical engineering, or a combination of both, with practical experience in areas such as CAD/CAM, automation, polymers, or related fields
• Innovation & Problem-Solving: A track record of developing disruptive solutions and applying creative thinking to technical challenges
• Hands-on Mentality: Eagerness and ability to work directly with prototypes, machinery, and lab equipment
• Project Management: Experience independently managing complex projects from ideation to completion
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with interdisciplinary teams and external partners. Experience working in a cross-functional team between engineers, designers, product experts and cross-functional non-product creation partners
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and flexible environment with a high degree of autonomy. You are able to work independently under a deadline on several projects simultaneously requiring both innovative ideas and engineering problem-solving
• Innovation Mindset: You have an innovative mind with a strong drive to pushing the boundaries of footwear design & manufacturing

The Innovation team is responsible for On’s future products, out-of-the-box thinking and athlete-informed technology that differentiates On’s products in the market. Within the Innovation team you will join the Technology Exploration team which is focused on concept creation for products and manufacturing processes. You will have the opportunity to be part of an agile and interdisciplinary team of experts in the areas of engineering, materials, design and sports science. We foster a fast-paced environment with direct decision making and the freedom to design projects and processes
