Are you a highly experienced professional in the insurance industry with a strong background in underwriting within financial lines? If so, we have the opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Copenhagen, Denmark

Job Description:

• As a Senior Underwriter, you will build and be responsible for your own portfolio of contracts and customers with assignments such as risk selection, premium setting, quoting, negotiating, measuring exposure, and analyzing risk. You will build relationships to support customer acquisition and retention. Further, you will be part of diversifying our portfolio and enhancing our customer offering by proactively contributing ideas on product development and finding new business opportunities
• This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships across the industry
• Several years of professional
• experience from the Insurance Industry within Financial Lines and Underwriting
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law or equivalent
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
• Leadership expertise is highly regarded
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Good understanding of the underwriting process for specific and standard insurance products
• Knowledge of risk analysis and selection, pricing for new business and renewals
• Good negotiation skills and sales oriented
• Strong presentation skills
• As a person, you are a team player and an analytical thinker. You have a strong business and customer focus and interest in customer relationships and negotiation. You are fast-moving and flexible. You like working independently but with good abilities to co-operate with both customers and colleagues
