Your field of activity

You work at the interface of software development, AI, and media processing. In doing so, you plan, develop, and operate software systems for the automated processing and structuring of pre-digital media, from digitization to intelligent post-processing.

• Building and maintaining powerful, scalable, and robust systems for processing large amounts of data
• Development of tools and modules for workflows with Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and LLMs
• Integration and optimization of services for classification, structuring, extraction, and analysis of media content
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners

What you bring

• Completed IT education or equivalent experience
• Very good knowledge of Go and/or Python
• Experience with image processing (e.g. OpenCV) and common ML/DL libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow) is an advantage
• Understanding of data formats and media processing (image, audio, video, PDF, OCR)
• Knowledge of metadata standards (e.g. METS/ALTO, PREMIS, EXIF, Dublin Core, EAD, SIP according to OAIS) is a plus
• Enjoyment of practical development work, independent research, creative problemsolving and thinking beyond the obvious and continuous learning
• Team spirit, initiative, and a sense of responsibility
