Located in the picturesque village of Zumikon, near a beautiful Nature Reserve, the school , is only 10 km away from the old town of Zurich

The Context:

• Teachers at ICS are responsible for ensuring that their practice inside and outside the classroom is in harmony with the educational philosophy of the school. All teachers are members of departmental, grade level, and primary teams and as such share responsibility for positively supporting school change as outlined in the school’s strategic plan
• Our Primary School needs supply teachers for the 2025-2026 school year
• For several grades or objects, our Primary School is happy to receive applications for supply teachers for the 2025-2026 school year, and we will contact you should new needs arise

Contributing positively to the collaborative culture of his/her teams by being an engaged participant in team and Primary School meetings., -Supporting the social and emotional well-being of the students in their classes., -Liaising with the Homeroom, Grade Level Teachers and PYP Coordinator to ensure that the programme requirements are met within the classes taught., -Demonstrating effective classroom management that shows an understanding of the academic, social and emotional dimensions of learning., -Using technology to enhance learning

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree., -Current classroom teacher qualification to teach at Primary level., -Minimum 4 years recent and relevant Primary School classroom experience., -Experience in an international school environment advantageous., -Knowledge and experience of the PYP is advantageous., -Excellent English communication skills., -Experience in teaching learners with diverse needs., -Strong classroom management skills., -Empathy and social skills., -Valid Swiss work and residence permit is a must
• The contract will be on an on-call basis and generous salary conditions will apply
