We are looking for a Team Lead to support the Head of our Automation department, which is involved in the core business of customized isolator automation projects. As a Team Lead you manage, coach and mentor a dedicated team (approx. 14 employees) with a strong operational focus. The role is close to the employees, responsible for day-to-day coordination and ensuring operational performance. You set goals for the team, support employees in their daily work, identify conflicts and emerging issues at an early stage, and act as the interface to the Head
Responsibilities
Technical coordination of the operative Automation team working with Siemens and Allen Bradley
Synchronisation with peers (Team Lead and Functional Coordinators)
Encouraging collaboration beyond the line (across the whole organization)
Lead and control the execution of specific strategic projects
Scheduling of engineers to fulfill demand of resource
Contributing to execution and improvement of processes and work instructions
Contributing to plan and comply with the department’s budget
Executes and monitor the strategy and translates it to the team on an equal footing
Derives team goals from the strategy and accordingly sets priorities and manages resources at a detailed level
Approve costs and time requests in SAP (invoices, expenses, reported hours)
Active involvement in the recruiting process
Responsible for the personal development of employees incl. performance management
Engineer FH/HF with specialization in Electrical Engineering or Automation
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Plant Engineering, preferably with a pharmaceutical role background
At least 1 year experience in a direct or indirect leadership role
Knowledge in GMP
Experience in working in cross-functional teams and process optimization
Good user knowledge of Siemens (Step 7/TIA) and/or Allen Bradley controls
Safe handling of MS-Office and IT systems
Business fluent in English, German B2 required
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple levels
Precise and reliable way of working
