Responsibilities:
Team Lead for the Operation Experts Superintendents in Switzerland, coordinating the field tasks and assisting with resource planning
Direct contact with customers about planning attendance on board vessels
Direct contact with Field service coordinator in Korea, China and Japan
Documentation review and updates and ensuring that common templates are used by all our field teams in CH, KR and CN
Root Cause analysis of mechanical and automation-related failures
Support the Experts team with incoming inquiries from vessels and engines in operation
Direct and remote technical support for troubleshooting on engines in service, and technical support to the warranty department
Requirements:
Team leading experience
Expert level knowledge of internal combustion reciprocating engines, preferably low speed 2-stroke marine engines (diesel and dual fuel)
Additional knowledge of lubricants and marine fuels would be a great advantage
Willing to travel, also at short notice, and to work on board Vessels, accepting the temporary inconveniences of the working environment
Fluent in English, basic in German any other foreign language is an advantage
