      Define and maintain the technical roadmap supporting the Genome of Switzerland programme., • Develop, maintain and optimize genomic data processing pipelines and analytical workflows., • Ensure the secure ingestion, storage, organization, traceability and delivery of genomic datasets and associated metadata., • Oversee quality control procedures throughout the data generation and processing workflow., • Contribute to the automation, reproducibility and scalability of analytical processes and computational infrastructures., • Coordinate interfaces between sequencing platforms, analytical environments, data repositories and data-sharing infrastructures., • Support the integration, harmonization and preparation of genomic datasets for national and international initiatives, including Genome of Europe and controlled-access repositories., • Contribute to the implementation of data governance, security, access-control and compliance procedures., • Maintain technical documentation, workflow specifications and operational procedures., • Provide technical expertise and support to project scientists, bioinformaticians and collaborating institutions., • Evaluate, deploy and maintain emerging technologies, software tools and computational infrastructures relevant to large-scale genomics., • Contribute to technical reporting, programme deliverables and stakeholder presentations

      MSc or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, data engineering or a related field., • Experience designing, deploying and operating large-scale genomic or biomedical data processing infrastructures., • Strong programming skills (Python, Bash and/or similar languages)., • Experience with Linux environments, workflow management systems, containerization technologies and cloud or high-performance computing infrastructures., • Familiarity with genomic data formats, sequencing technologies and genomic analysis workflows., • Experience implementing reproducible and automated analytical pipelines., • Knowledge of data security, access control and data governance principles., • Strong problem-solving, documentation and communication skills., • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multi-institutional environments., • Familiarity with the Genome of Switzerland project a strong asset, • Excellent command of English; knowledge of French is an asset
