Position description & Main responsibilities
Preparation and execution of engine tests
Perform test programs for engine verification on the 2-stroke engines at Licensees, yards and on engines in service
Support testing activities carried out in production & in field test
Support head office with engine measurement activity and the development of testing methods
Maintain and up-to-date of measurement equipment
Report test results
Ensure safe working
Education
BSc or MSc in Electrical & Automation, Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering
At least three (3) years’ experience for engine orientated work with engine commissioning, operation, automation and software
Engine testing & development experience of 2-stroke engines
Measuring techniques of temperature, dynamic, stress and etc
Desired Skills
Preferably knowledge and experience of analogue and digital measurement techniques, sensors, signal conditioning and data acquisition
Technical product knowledge of 2-stroke engines
Knowledge of engine operation, automation and software
Willing to travel and to work worldwide in a multicultural environment
OA skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Reporting and analysis skills
Good communication skills
Excellence English language, written and spoken
Teamwork skills
Customer oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Pro-active and self-driven way of working
