Trainee

• We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trainee - Product/Packaging Designer to support packaging development activities with a strong focus on technical documentation
• This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student in Industrial Design, Packaging Design/Engineering, or a related discipline who is interested in structural design, material optimization, sustainability requirements, and regulatory alignment within the EU packaging framework
• The trainee will assist in developing packaging solutions while ensuring Technical Documentation meets emerging regulatory requirements related to recyclability, material reduction, reuse targets, and design-for-circularity principles
• Support through concept, design, sampling and testing of packaging solutions that target sustainability and product protection
• Creation of diecut/artwork for mock-ups, prototyping, and production
• Support the preparation of technical documentation aligned with PPWR requirements (PLM component creation, focus on DoC and technical documentation)
• Gather and update packaging related info, compliance files and technical data sheets
• Participate in packaging and manual validation processes internally (with Product Managers, Compliance engineers, QM and Marketing) and externally (supplier communication)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

Sustainability / Sustainable Product Engineering

• Technical skills
• Proficiency with Illustrator, InDesign, basic knowledge of Excel
• Understanding of packaging materials (paper-based, polymers, composites)
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and circular economy concepts
• Strong documentation and data organization skills
• Passionate about design, sport, and sustainability
• Analytical and data-oriented mindset
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the rest of the team
• Comfortable in agile, cross-functional and multicultural environments
• High level of accountability and accuracy
• Hands-on experience in packaging development (wide product and packaging portfolio)
