Position:
Due to continued growth, our client, a leading independent trust company, is looking to strengthen its Client Accounting team in Geneva. Joining a busy, close-knit team, you will work closely with the Managing Director, fellow Trust Accountants and Trust Officers, taking ownership of a varied portfolio while contributing to a collaborative environment where quality, professionalism and exceptional client service are at the heart of the business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of trusts, companies and foundations across a variety of international jurisdictions, including Swiss entities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare annual financial statements and supporting working papers in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of Swiss corporate tax returns for straightforward entities.
- Produce financial reports and management information for clients, trustees and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with Trust Officers and colleagues across the business to deliver a seamless, high-quality service to clients.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, controls and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical accounting support and contribute to wider team initiatives and ad hoc projects as required.
