Welding Engineer
About the role
Our client, an internationally operating industrial company actively shaping the future of energy and drive technologies, is looking for a communicative engineer or technician for welding technology to reinforce their team. You will take responsibility for the technical planning, supervision and optimization of welding processes, ensure compliance with the highest quality standards, and actively contribute to efficiency and innovation in manufacturing. You will work closely with customers, help shape tomorrow’s processes, and find long-term prospects in a future?oriented environment.
Work tasks
- Bring in your technical welding expertise, review customer requirements and support projects from the offer phase through to quality assurance.
- Prepare, review and approve technical documentation in the field of welding technology.
- Monitor welding activities during product development, repairs and modernizations, and collaborate closely with suppliers.
We are looking for
- Fluent English skills, ideally good to very good German skills.
- Certification as a welding specialist or welding engineer (IWE/IWT) with (first) professional experience.
- Experience with standards and regulations such as ISO 3834, EN 1090, ASME B31.3, EN 13480 and ASME IX.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
